Proposal · 2026Driver notice boards in every depot, an interactive driver hub and a modern screen for CPC training.

Lakeside Coaches runs one of the largest coach fleets in Shropshire from its HQ in Ellesmere and depots across the county. Drivers rely on static notice boards for updates such as road closures, and CPC training depends on an old, unreliable projector.
TrouDigital proposes a single, cloud managed signage network that solves both: digital notice boards and interactive driver hubs in every depot, and a large LED screen for training that plugs straight into a trainer's laptop.
Everything is run remotely from HQ, with depot managers able to update their own screens, and any screen can be made interactive.

You asked, and we've listened. Here are four must haves we identified on our call, and how we would plan to action each of them.
Static boards mean road closures and operational changes reach drivers late. Digital notice boards in every depot are updated from HQ in seconds, and keep playing from local cache if the network drops.
A touch screen kiosk where drivers check live traffic and weather, then complete a pre-departure compliance questionnaire before leaving the yard. Results are recorded and reported back to HQ.
The old projector is replaced with a large LED screen on wheels. A media player with HDMI in lets trainers plug in a laptop and switch over with one button, and it runs signage between sessions.
Everything is managed remotely through the cloud portal. HQ assigns a general playlist to every screen, and each depot can have its own playlist, with depot managers given limited access.

Following our call, we propose screens at every depot, three at HQ in Ellesmere and a large LED screen on wheels for CPC training. Each depot gets a drivers' notice board and an interactive hub for pre-departure checks.

A three-tier hierarchy would give Lakeside Coaches central control from HQ, a local voice for each depot, and room for training and compliance to take on their own content later.

A notice board only helps when it is on. Our support team would keep every depot screen live, with visibility for HQ and intervention from us before it becomes a ticket.
Our support team sits in the UK, so Lakeside Coaches would speak to people who know your network, in the same working day and the same time zone.
Lakeside would have access to a reporting dashboard that is operational around the clock, showing screen status, playback history and touch reports.
The portal shows every screen as online or offline. We alert you when one drops and work behind the scenes to bring it back.
Lakeside would be onboarded by our projects team, then looked after day to day by support. The two share depot detail and content decisions so nothing is lost in the handover.
Lakeside would have a dedicated account manager, holding quarterly reviews and routing every enquiry to the right department, whether that is support, accounts or development.

The platform is hardware agnostic, from 22" single screens up to large LED walls. For Lakeside we recommend three types of screen, each with its own media player.

A 1.5m x 3.337m LED screen on castors for the CPC training room. Bright enough for a lit room, and it can be wheeled out of the way.

A freestanding touch screen for the driver hub, running live traffic, weather and the pre-departure check.

Wall mounted notice boards from 32" to 75", built to run all day. We recommend 55" and 65" for drivers' rooms.
Each media player is set up and registered before it reaches the depot, so the screen only needs fixing in place and plugging in. Every screen is then managed remotely from HQ.
Trainers plug their laptop into the media player and switch the LED screen over with a single button. When the session ends, it goes back to signage. The same works on any screen in the network.
If it lives on a web page, it can live on a touch screen. We build custom interactive pages, add Touch buttons to launch tools like your vehicle tracker, and report on what drivers use.
Thank You · 2026Starting with depot screens and a training screen, TrouDigital can grow into a connected platform for driver comms, compliance and training across every Lakeside site.
One update from HQ that interrupts every depot screen, then drops back to the normal loop once it has played.
Weekly duty rotas and routine notices set to repeat on a schedule, so nobody has to remember to post them.
Short training and toolbox talk videos scheduled to interrupt the main loop at set times in every depot.
A Touch button that opens your vehicle tracker or any other web page on the interactive hub.
Turn one piece of content into local content for every depot, with its own name, manager and contacts.
Automated reports on what drivers tap, so you can see which content and pages are being used.
If you ever want screens for customers, such as at the Coach Centre reception, they run from the same platform.
Polls, recognition and quick surveys, so HQ can hear from drivers who rarely sit at a desk.

Digital signage, made simple.
Thank you for your time, and for continuing the conversation with us.
